School Portal User Guide

Everything a school needs to register, log in, fill in an entry form, and keep it up to date for the CBSE Cluster‑VIII Badminton Championship 2026‑27.

Before you begin
  • One account per school. If someone at your school already registered, don't create a second account — log in instead, or use "Forgot password" if it's been lost.
  • Have these ready: your CBSE affiliation number, a phone number and email your school can be reached on, and — when you get to the form — a single combined PDF of your documents and annexures (max 100MB).
  • Nothing is final until you're ready. You can save your entry form as a draft and come back to it, and you can keep editing it even after submitting.
Step 01

Register your school

A one-time account for your school. Go to the portal's Register page and fill in the following.

Fields on this page
  • Your Name — the person filling this in (usually the coach, manager, or PE teacher).
  • School Name
  • School Affiliation No. — your CBSE affiliation number. Each school can only register once against a given affiliation number.
  • School Phone Number — a 10-digit number your school can be reached on.
  • School Email
  • Password and Repeat Password — at least 8 characters.

Tick the agreement checkbox, then select Create account. You'll be logged in immediately and taken straight to your entry form.

Tip: if you see “This institution is already registered. Please log in instead,” it means your affiliation number, email, or phone number is already on file — use the login page rather than registering again.
Step 02

Log in

On future visits, head to the portal's Login page.

Forgot your password?

Select Forgot password? on the login page and enter your registered phone or email. A reset link is sent to your school's email address and stays valid for 60 minutes — after that, request a new one.

Step 03

Fill in your entry form

After logging in, select Entry Form from the top menu (or Fill entry form / Edit entry form from your dashboard). The form has five sections.

  • School details — school name, affiliation number, city, state, and your manager/coach/escort's name and contact number.
  • Event category — tick every age group and gender category your school is entering.
  • Delegates & participants — headcounts for accompanying adults and for boys' and girls' participants.
  • Boarding & lodging requirement — see the table below.
  • Documents upload — a single PDF of all your documents and annexures, up to 100MB.

Choose the one option that applies to your school. Only the relevant follow-up questions appear underneath it — the others stay hidden.

Breakfast and lunch are not available on 12.08.2026. Boarding (food) runs 12.08.2026 dinner – 15.08.2026 dinner. Lodging (stay) runs 12.08.2026 2:00 PM – 15.08.2026 10:00 PM.

Uploading your documents

Combine every supporting document and annexure into a single PDF before uploading — the portal accepts one PDF file, up to 100MB.

Save as draft, or submit

At the bottom of the form you have two options:

  • Save as draft — keeps everything you've entered so far without finalising it. Use this if a headcount is still uncertain or the PDF isn't ready. Come back and finish any time.
  • Submit entry form — finalises your entry. It's still fully editable afterwards.

Your dashboard always shows a status chip so you know where things stand:

Step 04 & 05

Dashboard & editing

Your dashboard is home base — a summary of where your entry stands, and the way back in whenever you need to make a change.

After logging in, your dashboard gives you an at-a-glance summary: your form's status, delegate and participant counts, whether a document has been uploaded, your selected categories, and when it was last updated.

Editing your entry later

Nothing is locked once you submit. Go back to Entry Form at any time to:

  • Correct or update any of your details.
  • Change your selected event categories or headcounts.
  • Switch your boarding & lodging choice.
  • Replace your uploaded PDF — choose a new file only if you want to replace the existing one; otherwise it's left as-is.

Every save — draft or submit — updates the "Last updated" timestamp on your dashboard, so you'll always know when your entry was last touched.

FAQ & help

Quick answers to the questions schools ask most.

Yes — share the same phone/email and password with anyone who needs to fill in or check the form. There's one account per school, not per person.
Contact the organising committee (details below) — they can look your school up by its affiliation number.
Yes, at any time before the tournament — just reopen Entry Form, adjust your selections, and save again.
No. Your existing file stays attached unless you deliberately choose a new one to replace it.
Compress it, or split supporting material into a smaller combined file — the portal will reject anything over the limit.
Request a new one from the Forgot password page — each link is valid for 60 minutes.
